Standing Rules
Oak View Civic Council

  1. There shall be no smoking during meetings.
  2. Officers and chairpersons must turn in resignations in writing.
  3. Officers must turnover all supplies and procedure books to newly elected officers at the annual meeting.
  4. It shall be the privilege of the incoming president to choose the installing officer.
  5. A written application must be submitted to the executive board for membership on the council.
  6. The bingo committee's guidelines re:
  1. The proceeds are used only for charitable purposes;
  2. The games re conducted by volunteer members of the organizations;
  3. No salaries are paid with bingo proceeds;
  4. There is no commingling of bingo money with any other funds; and
  5. Must hold a valid license by the city or county in which bingo is played.
  1. The Bingo Committee must keep an accurate account of all money. It must submit a monthly financial report at council meetings for approval.

* 6. Groups (orgs) submit application to the Oak View Civic Council to work Bingo.
